A Sweet Couple of Wildflower Gatherings
The Trust held its first two wildflower walks at Oak Meadows, with the first on April 26, and the most recent on May 3rd, 2025. It was simply great to have the public visit Oak Meadows, and to host our first-ever trips as a non profit organization!
Walking, and looking carefully at camas and Bradshaw’s lomatium.
Pausing by the Oaks
A huge thanks to those who took part. We really appreciate the interest and support. Thanks to those of you who became new donors as well!
We will be conducting a variety of trips to Oak Meadows over the months ahead. Check our Gatherings/Trips page, and also get on our email list for the latest opportunities.
Making a careful path amongst monkeyflower and buttercups.
Bradshaw’s lomation and camas emerging.
It was great to meet so many of you for the first time and to see some old friends who have been interested in the new land trust. We definitely have something to celebrate this Spring!
Meadow checkermallow, Oak Meadows Natural Area
On each trip we viewed a range of wildflowers, from camas and buttercups, to seaspray, and Bradshaw’s lomatium. Seeing the progression of flowers has been great so far, with more to come. We look forward to seeing you all out there!
